Treating Hemorrhoids That Bleed

Carol asks…Do i have hemorrhoids..?Last week i was really constipated and when I used the bathroom, I felt like I kimda stretched or tore my butthole. Now whenever I use the bathroom, I bleed out of my butt.(Not on the waste, but on the toilet paper.) Is it possible that I have external hemorrhoids ? But I dont feel itchy down there or anything, I just bleed out of my butt when i use the bathroom. If I do have hemorrhoids, can I treat it and is it life threatening ? Thank you for the help !
